Together, We Achieve More: Announcing Our Business Process Guidance Initiative Badges and New Catalog

The Microsoft Success by Design is the framework for implementing Dynamics 365 with consistency and efficiency, ensuring that organizations operate smoothly and achieve goals. Managing business processes effectively is the foundation of every successful Dynamics 365 implementation. Today, I'm excited to announce a new way to celebrate the creativity and dedication of our community: the launch of Wizard Fox badges for contributions to our business process guidance initiative, along with a new version of our business process catalog.

Business Processes: The Blueprint for Success

Business processes define how things are done within an organization. From sales, finance, human resource management, and project management, to operations, whether in the field or in your own warehouses; having clear processes is crucial for achieving consistent results. Dynamics 365 provides the tools to support these processes, but the real magic happens when our community shares its knowledge and expertise.

A New Business Process Catalog

We're excited to introduce our latest business process catalog which is available for download at businessprocesscatalog. This new version contains over 1,200 configurations for finance and operations apps, designed to help partners implement Dynamics 365 faster and more consistently.  With this expanded catalog, you'll spend less time on customizations and more time focusing on delivering value to your customers and stakeholders. We have also included more than 1000 KPI's mapped to the level 2 business process areas to help presales architects map the business value indicators that you hear from customers to the relevant business process that can help organizations achieve the desired KPI outcomes. This is just the first step we are taking to help make the pre-sales process easier for partners. We look forward to adding more test cases, more metadata related to the KPI's, and more configurations in future releases.

Introducing Wizard Fox Badges

To honor the contributions of our community, we're launching a new badge system: Wizard Fox. This system recognizes those who contribute to our business process guidance initiative by authoring or reviewing articles. In the age of artificial intelligence (AI), it would only be suitable to create the badges with the use of AI. We hope that our community loves the creativity of the badge design and the prospect of really cool new swag in the future. The new Credly badges are tiered based on the number of contributions:

- Level 1: Young Fox (1 contribution)

- Level 5: Mature Fox (5 contributions)

- Level 15: Wise Fox (15 contributions)

- Level 25: Wizard Fox Master (25 contributions)

Guru badges are awarded to any person who helps author or co-author an article, below you can see a progression of the Guru badges. 

Sleuth badges are awarded to Microsoft employees who perform technical reviews of articles. Below you can see a progression of the Sleuth badges.

As you earn badges, you progress from a Young Fox to a Wizard Fox Master, symbolizing your journey towards greater wisdom and experience. This tiered system encourages ongoing participation and highlights the value of collaboration within our community. By earning these badges, you demonstrate your commitment to helping others and improving the overall quality of our business process guidance, but you also demonstrate your deep knowledge and expertise of Dynamics 365.
