I saw something weird yesterday and still seeing that when I hit the save button manually it takes 10-20 seconds to save the form.
Is there any issue from the server-side of my organization or it happens for all?
And also, I am using a custom code to make the case record resolved and on OnSave event I am creating/Updating an entity record automatically. If the number of records is large then,
Is it affect the system like performance-wise?
Convert/move the custom code execution into Asynchronous plugin, that way user need not to wait (or experience performance delays) till server side execution gets completed.

Are you facing this issue for all entity or specific entity ?
If this specific entity then you can try to deactivate plugin steps or workflow if you have any for the entity and check.
In addition you can also ask different user or login with different user or browser .
Finally you can reach to MS support if above does not help you.
