    Hi Francis,

The "Pay group" field is not used in the product and was depreciated in the new Microsoft Dynamics AX.  I'm interested in understanding your scenario for how you would like to use that field.

Hi Jerilyn, Is there a way to update the 'Pay group' field on the Fixed compensation form for a worker? The field does not show up on the Create compensation form, not even on the Change/Edit compensation ones. Thanks

    Hi pradeepax994,

Please check your Eligibility rules (Human resources > Periodic > Compensation > Eligibility rules) and ensure you have a rule set up for each of your plans.  When you open the Plan drop down on the Create compensation dialog, the system will ensure that the employee's position, job, and other attributes match ALL the criteria specified on the Eligibility rule for that plan.  Keep in mind that Position, Job, and many of the Employee attributes are date effective.  If you are trying to create a compensation in the past or in the future, you may need to make sure your dates align appropriately.

    Hi Anita,

Thank you for your comment!  The Assignment start and Assignment end dates were added on the Create compensation dialog in R3 CU9.  Good catch!

I notice on your Create Compensation screenshot, you have the Assignment Start and End date added below the position field. Is that a customization or something new in CU8? Other than that, your script was very well explained. Thank you!
